Poster analysis

 Blade Runner

The bright lights, facial expressions of the characters and the font of the text clearly depict how this is a fast paced action movie. There are some robotic elements which also illustrate how this is a si-fi movie too. The female character in the poster is holding a cigarette which could indicate that the decade this is set in is the 1950s.

Scary Movie 2

Even the title easily gives away one of the genres, but the costumes of all the characters also portrays the horror theme in this movie. However, it does not give the eerie feel that you would expect when looking at a horror movie poster. Therefore, due to the character's facial expressions and the 'play on words' we are able to predict how there will be a comedic twist.

Uzak

It looks like it is set in the past and possibly at the time of industrial revolution, due to the heavy smoke. Therefore, it may be a documentary film about this time period. The person standing alone may have lost their job due to this.

I'm not scared

I think that is movie is a thriller, not only because it says so on the poster, but in the letters of the title it looks like there are flames, which insinuates danger and possibly some sort of survival element in the movie. The character's facial expression looks nervous and as if he is about to conquer a fear of some sort, therefore the reasoning for why the the title may be 'I'm not scared.'

Sin City

Due to the stance and positions of all the characters it looks like it is an action movie. However, below them there is some sort of villainous looking figure. So, this could also be a thriller too. Also, because of the fact that all of the characters are holding weapons. They are all wearing similar clothing which gives them some sort of unity as if they are against the other figure.

Pirates of the Caribbean

As they all look like and are confirmed pirates in the the title there is obviously some sort of fantasy in the movie. I have heard of the genre 'swashbuckler' when referring to pirates in movies (I have no idea if this is a real genre please correct me if I am wrong). The characters facial expressions may indicate how this might have some adventure and action on the pirate boat illustrated at the bottom.

Bride & Prejudice

I can see that Aishwarya Rai is in the poster, who is an Indian actress. The celebrations in the background and the term 'bride' in the title clearly indicate that this is a romance possibly set in India.

Million Dollar Baby

The dark background and shadows give off a mysterious feel. The man on the right looks like he is a detective which leads me to believe that this movie is a mystery with some sort of crime.
